Q2: Do I need a license to rent or operate a forklift?

It's mandatory for all forklift operator to be licensed. For forklift with lifting capacity exceeding 5 tons, you would be required to obtain a separate license; Heavy Forklift License.
We do provide certified forklift operator with forklift rental, If required. A day's work starts from $250 (Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm).

Q3. What is the most popular forklift brand? I need a small forklift to rent for a day, what are the rates?.

We get this question a lot and understand that many customers are unsure what they need. Minimally, you would need to know the weight of the load to be lifted. A 3ton forklift can carry a load of up to 3ton, a 4ton forklift can lift a maximum load of 4ton and so on.

Next, you would have to consider the lifting height that the load have to be loaded on/off.  There are various heights to choose from (E.g. Standard Mast - 4,000mm, Container Mast - 4,300mm, High Mast - 6,000mm) In Singapore, both 3ton forklift with container mast and 4ton lift truck with standard mast are widely used. We carry both Japan and Chinese made forklift like TOYOTA. KOMATSU, TCM, MITSUBISHI and HANGCHA. 

We can provide extended fork and fork extension / sleeves for cargo up to 8 feet (2.4m) in length and various forklift attachments to make your work easier.

Q4: What if the forklift breaks down during rental period?

If the forklift malfunctions during the forklift hire duration, contact us immediately at our hotline 82997705. We offer prompt service and repair OR replacement units to minimize downtime.

Q5: What is included in a forklift rental package?

2. A copy of maintenance report, forklift checklist, public liability insurance

Q6: Does the forklift come with any Singapore Statutory board (NEA, LTA, WSH, etc) license?

In Singapore, forklift operators are mandated to hold a valid WSQ Operate Forklift certificate. Apart from this, there isn't a specific NEA   / LTA / WSH license for forklift operation itself.
